there is this other buy here with 97 mustang v6, that claim he have a 5.0 swap in it and it runs 9's in the quarter, he has a dual pipe conversion and its the 1st mustang that sounds like a geo metro with open pipe. I looked under his hood when it was getting a paint job bone stock v6, with 2.5" dual pipe I challenge him every month to racewars, and he always have a excuse, or is famous one if I dont have $500 up front he aint racing. so I am planning on taking his money next month, I am flashing $500 in his face 1/4 mile giving him a head start also. we'll see.

i have a cousin who is really spoiled.. in high school got a brand new tacoma, sold it 2 years ago for a brand new celica gts, then last year traded it in for an Evo.. he's always talking about all his plans for the evo and this and that and how he'll beat anybody.. one day i was looking under the hood and he was like "so where's the turbo again?" ..

Last month while I was down in Florida I saw a guy driving a Camaro (late 80's-early 90's body style) with large VTEC stickers on the lower door panels. :1

well one of my friends is a complete ------- idiot, thinks his stock gsr in his 00 ex coupe is the ----, talks about racing this and that like its something special, sorry a goddam gs eclipse isnt much to brag about beating, let alone a jeep. hes a close friend of ours and we let the homo know how stupid he is, dustins met him before and got a head from him, guys a real tool, ***** everything up because of oil problems, 1st time we drive to oregon and back, the stupid son of a bitch didnt put oil in the tranny, figured hmotors would have oil in it??wtf??, 2nd time hydrolocks his motor going through a 2ft deep puddle, 3rd time fucked up the head because he didnt put the cam caps on right and seized the cams going down the freeway, and for the 4th time the dumbass hooked his pcv valve up with no one way check valve so it was pulling strait ---- from the crankcase hahah, anyways whoooooo fuckn talk about a vent man that mother ****** is stupid. o and by the way his piece of ---- ran a 15.8 but he says it ran a 15.0, only that was the time no one was there to witness it, i tell him either way man .8 seconds is alot but jesus ------- christ 15.8-.8 haha still a 15 flat, slow piece of ---- i tell ya. only decent gsr's ive seen was in a gutted rex and slicks ran a 13.3. anyways

I had a kid look at my turbo'd EX for sale, he told me about his twin turbo Supra he bought for 7 Grand. Of course he wrapped it around a telephone pole doing 120 around a corner...The dude didn't even get into the boost in my car (maybe 3 psi into it) and he was talking how it "pulled so hard". It was a tiny tdo4, too... I hate selling Hondas in the paper!

Those are the people who don't have to learn about cars because they can always buy a faster one.

My personal favorite, out of the multitudes of morons I talk to, has to be the guy who runs around town in a '96 Dodge stratus, it's got some nasty body kit on it, runs el cheapo 16" rims and sounds like absolute ***. It's also clearly a 3 speed auto. The kid claims to have not only a turbo, but a built high compression motor. He's a real genius this one, says he runs mid 11's at the track, but won't open his hood for anyone.

The stupid *** car obviously is totally stock and slow as a turd, it's also smeared with vinyl graphics everywhere.

bleh! that guy and others like him should be shot. I have absoulutely NO problem with new people who are genuinely trying to learn about cars, but people who don't know crap about them and spout off like they do, hoping to impress you with what is obviously a web of lies, all I want to do is punch them in the face.

you forget to mention the big mopar stickers and racing stripes.
I know are guy that used to be stationed her also with a automatic avenger, with racing stripes, mopar stickers, greddy turbo stickers, garrett turbo stickers, nos, nx, and a bazooka bass tube painted like a nitrous bottle, tell everyone he has a turbo, and nitrous. but all he had was a bomb muffler weld on ,and blue hose cover, because he never showed his engine I sneak a peak when it was in the shop to a pic of it and posted it in the auto craft shop, he was the biggest clown around here.

nah, tis silver and rust colored, altho he claims he got it painted wrx blue but i havent seen it in a while. i think i know the red integra tho..i think i bought my si seats from him. i think he used to work at dayton imports, right?
