Re: sprung or unsprung clutch
Depends what the car is going to be used for...if its a daily driver get a sprung disc if a weekend racer/track car the unspring I believe grip better just not realy for street driving

Re: sprung or unsprung clutch
I believe the springs do help the life of the transmission quite a bit.

Re: sprung or unsprung clutch
Unsprung disk is more like an on off switch, its either on or off and you can`t really "ride"/slip it as easy as a sprung clutch, it makes noise, it shock your drive train but who really cares, like Dustin (turbohf) said : "it ain`t no taxi" :6
either way you can still drive it like a regular car but take some practice to start off smooth. |
Re: sprung or unsprung clutch
Go with the sprung, Unless you building a real race car, you wont go wrong.
