Yesterday I went to my first gymkhana. it was some of the most bad ass driving I have ever seen. -amature/daily drivin cars anyways. there were no trailer queens. There were a few drivers there that were pro rally drivers. WOW were those fuckers crazy. Gymkhana is bacially autocross, but a little different. in autocross you have a cone track, and the cones show you where to go. in gymkhana there is about 25 cones in a parking lot, someone draws the cones on paper, then they draw the track on paper. then you go and memorize it and drive it. its pretty wild.

I went with a good friend of mine who has a dc5R thats pretty built. He had the fastest american drivin car there. He was only 4 sec slower than the pro drivers. Yes there were classes, but I didnt quite understand them. I know there was a pro class, a rwd pro, an all american class, and something else. In the classes, engine/car mods are unlimited.

Here are some pics. The dam camera died after about 20min of taking pics. I was pissed. the batter strength icon was full....i was pissed. >:(

this evo was the ----. (another pro driver) this thing was 100% engine stock. all he had was different springs. it is his family car. This car was absoutly amazing. watching him drive give my goos bumps. the car was flawless in every way

notice the bacically stock motor. -IHE and some different fuel management is all the honda guys had for performance engine wise. Its all in the suspension/braking.

you blow your d16, i will run the ---- out of my n/a. did I menion my buddies n/a dc5 R was only 4sec slower than the pro drivers? He was the fastest american. his car has nothing but a I/H/E dual valve springs, and hondadata. it was only his 4th race.

Look at the car. It has three scoops on the hood and a 2 foot tall wing. Now I don't know if it's supposed to be some mad tyte mugen kit or something but it looks to me like someone photoshopped the car as some kind of joke.

if you look at the design of the hood, and think about where the intake and exhaust is, you will notice it is 100% full function. if you think its photoshoped, I pitty you. I could tell you alot about the car, but that car and HMT are on 2 different levels. that car could easily be taken out on a world cup coarse and be competitive.

the car is built with 100% full meaning to every last part on it. ;)

no, it isnt worthless. for what i want to do, its completly worth it. Did you see that CTR motor? that CTR motor was almost stock. ----, it retained a stock air box.

I know where you are comming from. I used to say it to..."Boost the ---- out of it!" but for what I want to do, I dont want boost. Its not needed. Suspension and brakes is where its at for me on my next car. ;) Im not gonna do much more than I/H/E. I am gonna run Crome on it though. Gotta keep it somewhat homemade. And I think weir is gonna make me a header. Not sure yet though. We are still talking about it.

gymkhana track. like said in my first post a gymkhana track is laid out in cones. (see the dots) and then the track is laid out on paper, and you gotta learn that in about an hours time. go walk it, some people have a scooter and they ride it...however you can do it.

haha...the mad tite jdm stuff doesnt exist. or at least not like I thought it did. JDM stuff isnt around. some ---- is, but you can get the exact same thing on ebay for cheaper than what I could probably get. If you have a nissan silvia/180/ skyline...its everywhere. other than that, the ---- is few and far between. As I have posted before (i think) I have really only been here and out and about for a month. the first month i was situating myself and my wife. then I went to korea for a month, and now im back for at least 6 months. I will find ----....I hope. I cant even find ---- for myself...let alone anyone else. :-\

this isn't a straight away course. Its a race on a track. Power doesn't really mean ---- if there a car that has better handling and less weight thats pretty quick it will walk circles with that GTR

Rock your EG6 NA cause they ain't driving your car, you are. There's just alot of 1/4 jugheads here and must of forgot that a FI honda isn't the greatest setup on a small autocross/gymkhana track. Don't worry I like to turn my steering wheel sometimes too and my hatch is staying NA and Z too. Nice pics though. Keep er' coming Frank.

People say all the time...oh I'm breaking traction in 2nd and 3rd like crazy. Okay.... now tell me how good would that be on short tight track. He'd be spinning his tires around that whole track and taking dead last. It's a gymkhana not a D1 competition. Damn this feels like HT with all the haterz.

Exactly. Honda's are better when you turn the wheel around instead of just keeping it straight. What was honda thinking with that corny susp design setup. Solid rear axles is where it's at. Geesh. ::)

last time i checked we're on homemadeTURBO.com. come on frank is ------- dissin on us saying that those cares and OUR cars are on two different levels. dont try to pull that ---- here. that dc5RRR looks like its on stock suspension. with stock calipers with upgraded rotors and mugen ::) wheels. mugen ---- makes you run 10x faster than everyone else. i dont see how thats a ctr wannabe. only thing it had was a ctr spoiler. looked like an sir to me. but aside from that. dont come around here thinking your better than everyone else ^-^

My head is huge about this stuff. and 99.9% of you would be to. A year ago I was not sleeping every night because I didnt know what I was gonna do with my life. I used to dream about skylines...all this JDM stuff and think of how bad ass it is. Now, here I am in japan racing against skyline GTR's, silvias. Before I left for korea I spent a day in a honda dealer shop helping put together that ITR. My head is huge, and I have every right to have it that way. If your jelious or think its fucked up...---- you. I have no need to come here anymore. No need for anything here anymore. I come here to keep you guys informed of the JDM ---- and show you what im doing.
