Ya I'm sure there are faster mustangs then that one. There's always a bigger fish in the sea! Either way I still love the car, congrats on the buy again!

I could never part with my CRX. I'd probably get all emo and depressed if I did and go listen to some Hawthorne Heights :'(
Any plans for the Evo other than pay it off? Maybe get it repo'd :8 |
Re: Sold my civic.. bought something new =) ... sort of big pics... 56k.. =(
dam this thread really took off.
in response to evo's launching and bogging.. a lot of people have problems with launching them. they think you can dump the clutch in an awd vehicle. definately not the case. a 'good' launch on a stock clutch will ruin it after about the 3rd time. the clutch feels nice in the car (compared to the civic) but there is not as much pressure, that is a common thing for them. I like the looks of the evo, but i can't decide if i like the wing or not. i want to pull it off but i can't see doing that and having holes in the trunk.. oh wait, yes i can :) as for my job, i am still in college. i am a mechanical engineering student. i didn't make a lot of money, but i saved for quite a while. i worked for 12.5/hr over the summer and made about 8k. that along with another 2k i had previously saved up was a very nice down payment on the car. my new job will be at 15.5/hr for a semester long and then another one before i finish college. just a little money management on my part and i can have the car paid off. i still live at home and i only have to pay ins., cell phone bill, and apt. rent. so, as long as i work i will be ok with the payments. plans for the car: i have a turbo timer that my gf bought me. i will start modding it when i continue to save up money. just like i did with the civic. the civic was a great car, but this is a different experience. i liked going in straight lines, but when you hammer the gas through a corner and the car goes.. its hard to compare the two, and i don't want to.. they each had their place and i don't regret either one. |

sad to see the coupe go.
but the evo looks like sa nice one. It's funny how you brought up the wing, me and bambi aka bambooseven had a discussion about this a while ago. I digs the evo wingless, bambi loves the wing, then we saw one wingless with a cf trunk, and he agreed that it looked good, but still liked the wing, so what am I saying? buy a cf trunk and go wingless :P |
