So I think I'm getting dumber

Re: So I think I'm getting dumber
I do eat pretty healthy usually and take vitamins. It looks like I'm gonna go to the doctor, but I don't think I would be willing to go on anti depressants. And I have been thinking about a good vacation, like a week away from everything, no TV, no phone, no internet, no booze like backcountry camping. The recessions doesn't bother me that much, it hasn't affected me directly that much yet.

*now i don't follow any of those but the avoidance of caffeine, but when i have stuck to the proper sleep schedule it has done wonders for my grades and mental health.

Avoiding sugars and high glycemic index items is the #1 thing to do.
Stimulants like caffeine actually help focus, sorry, that's why stimulants are what doctors prescribe for ADD and ADHD.
Lastly, students who binge drink on the weekends ALWAYS test higher on everything from curriculum to IQ tests to reaction times. Significantly higher. The idea is that the crappy weak brain cells that slow you down get killed in the binge drinking process. So, cutting daily alcohol consumption out of your diet for blood sugar reasons is good, but "drinking to make up for it" on the weekends is something you should seek out.

when the buffalo are running in a pack, the fastest strongest ones are at the front of the pack safe. leaving the sick, weaker buffalo at the rear of the pack to get picked of by hungry wolves. leaving only the strongest, fastest ones to survive.
thats kinda what beer does to brain cells
