or be happy that they are not carbs in the first place.although it'd be funny to see a carb setup on a B series. was a B20A carburated? no right?)

I dunno 200 bucks isnt really that much is it? :P

be prepared for some neck snaping throttle response except for WOT ;D

I am putting a set back on my neon when the SMT-6 gets here. Throttle bodies were from a 99 suzuki and i could never get it right for the street.

Trying to pull out of a parking space was murder and it would bog like crazy at WOT and my runners weren't long enough - I think i have a picture of my old ones I will post up when i find it. My powerband was from 5500 to 7600 rpm I found out later my runners were tuned for around 9000 rpm but my rev limit was 8100. I didn't know what I was doing at the time but it looked and sounded cool.

I am taking my kit off this week and going NA again

how are you going to get good air back again the firewall on the backside of the block???? think about how much heat you are going to get, are you going to run pipes off of them or what?

How are you going to attach a filter on that. Are you going to put a log mainifold on it or just leave it open.

motors like that are the reason for hood scoops! i know they make a set-up like this for the miata and it has an optional snap on manifold if needed/wanted.

Motorcycles use a set-up similar to this & has proven successful.

If there are powerband issues, then just play around with the runner length until it's right.

Great to see that the couragous inventor is still alive.

One thing you probably already know is that a progressive linkage would really smooth out the response from that setup. Like a weird decreasing radius roller for the cable to pull on. I dunno, just a thought. Cracking open a 42mm throttle plate even a little moves a great deal of air.

Hey I was tring to figure out a picture of the decreasing radius roller fot the cable to pull on. If you could make a picture and post it that would be great. thanks

think of a nautilus or snail shell with the throttle shaft running through the middle. you would probably need a quicker change in radius, but it's the same idea.
