Smaller ports equals more power?

So on the tubro cars it would no effect on it besides putting more air into the cylinders since you already have a pressure difference. So if you ported out the heads, lets say a mild port, the turbo might have to take more time to build pressure but you could run the same psi and still have the same volicity an dthus causeing more hp. Is that correct. I think it works in theory the way I undersand it.

This is the biggest problem everyone has when thinking about bosting. It always leads to, The rules are different for boosted cars. NOT TRUE.

The driving force is a vaccum on the cylinder side of your port from the piston traveling down (~0psi absolute) and the higher pressure atmospheric pressure on the manifold side of the port (~14 psi absolute at WOT). If your boosted 6psi its about 20psia on the other side. All of the rules of air flow still apply.

When boosted 6psi the air is about 1/3 denser and the pressure difference is about a 1/3 more. The same air flow rules of maximizing power by balancing the intertia effects and frictional losses still apply.
