rofl, i jus realized that I go for coffee every night and drink lots of it. hmmmm. owell, im drinking some warm milk right now thanks to Dr. Semnos, the Insomnia expert.
you're kidding right? o lord please tell me your kidding? you thought people drink it in the morning for? o well, learn somethin new every day..

FYI, Tea has more cafeine (the ingredient that keeps u awake) then coffee, so dont switch to tea.

Most likely stress. I use to have sleeping problems when I was younger. Chill out and jerk it will always do the ticket.

My advice would be to stop drinking coffee, tea, or any soda with caffeine in it. Your imsomnia could also be related to stress in your life as well. If you were to drink coffee, tea, or soda, Id suggest you do it before 12pm and dont drink any of those caffeinated beverages after that time--might even want to consider stop drinking them in general. Oh yea, no RED BULL or any of those energy drinks either!

Also, do something that will relax you, whether it be listening to classical music, watching movies, or spanking your monkey... Doesnt matter, just make sure it relaxes you. You might want to consider some meditation while you are trying to sleep. Another thing to consider is make sure you aren't starving when you are going to bed... Sometimes that in itself will keep you up.

DO NOT take nyquil or any of those drowsy medicine unless you have to. Most people find that those medicine will actually make you feel groggy in the morning becuase it wasnt good sleep...

But if you feel like you've done everything you could, then I'd suggest you pay a nice visit to your primary care physician...

Let me know if I can be of any more help...

cant sleep at night?

Get some ------- exercise and don't drink caffeine all day!!!

Go to the gym and toss around weights for 45 minutes, then do 20 minutes of cardio after that. You'll sleep like a baby at night and wake up feeling great - aside from sore muscles.

I have this problem all the time and i pretty much leanred how to rectify it without any drugs.

Basically it comes down to a person needs to be awake for something like 12-15 hours to be able to sleep 8+ hours. So if i ever get in a bad habit...like falling asleep at 4AM and waking up at 2pm...what i do is wake up, eat shower. do whatever im going to do that day, you can exercise more to help this but im too lazy. 11ish eat a bowl of cereal. Then at 12AM go to bed. regardless if you are tired or not. Bring up a bottle of water. Jerk off then put on a movie uve seen a hundred times. turn your TV colors to as dark as possible...and just lay in bed. you will fall asleep around 10-2:00. and then just repeat until you are falling asleep at a normal time like 12:00-120.

What probably keeps you up is ------- around reading ---- on the computer.
