I <3 my stock shifter knob, but the plastic threads make it impossible to tighten down all the way on 3/8 all thread. :'( Otherwise I LOVE it. Seem to actually get a better shift too. Who knows, I like it. :)

Problem is with the stock one it still has a long throw. What wannabgts did was he used the short throw shifter so it would be near stock. Yours is gonna be longer "throwing" distances than his

i have a cheap ebay short shifter i bought 3 years ago for like 10 bucks and it works fine.

The throw isn't all that bad really and what people have been saying about the short throws being bad makes me a little nervous. It really is very comfortable to shift and when ripping it's not awkward (suprisingly). I can try to get video of shifting if anyone wants to see the travel of it.
