Re: Short Shifter or Stock Shifter Preference...
I have a Fidanza dual bend short throw shifter from ebay it was like $30 shipped. I love it...it has incredibly short shifts, but still stock height. No problems so far.

I'm rocking a del sol shifter in my rex...its like a stock honda short shifter, well it sits lower to the floor but th throw is about the same...I've heard of cutting a section out of the top of the shifter and welding it below the pivot ball, may be hard to fabricate but that would be the ideal short shifter for a honda I'd image

Re: Short Shifter or Stock Shifter Preference...
i had a B&M and just replaced it for the stock shifter. The stock one is alot easier to get into gears and i don't grind gears with the stock one.

Re: Short Shifter or Stock Shifter Preference...
Short shifter. There's nothing wrong with them if (1) it's a quality piece (2) installed correctly. The problem with grinding gears, vibration and difficulty getting into gear is caused from the loss in weight. Get a weighted shift knob, problem solved.
