Default Self tinting windows

Who here has done it? I am to cheap to pay the 200 at a local shop(although quality work) and would rather order a pre cut kit from tintkits.com, i think for 60 dollars its worth a try, and the solar guard tint is the same stuff they use at the pro shop.

if you dont know what your doing you can expect to mess up at least 2 pieces of tint so you would need 2-3 kits and by that time youll have as much into it as taking it somewhere

i have done it on my last car and if you take your time it will turn out decent. shops around here only charge like $100 to tint all windows so i might just take it in next time. give it a shot

If someone wants to sponsor me I'll do a full write up. I used to work at a tint shop. 92-95 coupe is the test piece.

I did the side window's last summer with the $15 stuff at parts stores. After a few practice sheets and using lots of soapy water it came out perfect. Still holding up a year later.

I actually just did a few windows on the rearside of my parents home with some solar guard stuff i had laying around, i followed every tip i had read and watched in diy videos and it came out perfect, the bathroom windows now have a mirror like appearance from the rear of our home.

The cleanliness is key, but the key to keeping the cleanliness clean is the process. (I think I just confused a couple noobs)
