Um Ive met JD in person I'd give a fair guess and say he'd pretty much own you in any social situation. If you think he's just limited to honda's your crazy. In the space of a few hours he pointed out all the problems with a dsm a guy I knew had at the time and then put some old school domestic guys in there place. and we were watching a 9 second crx run down the track that he'd helped build from the ground up and their was another 700hp civic their that he'd had a part in to.

I netsearched that guy a week later and he's active on all the Z car forums, every post he makes he spits tech, offers to assist in any way he can, gives out his shop number, his cell number, his home number and asks people not to call during dinner with his family or after 10 at night. Again everyone looks at oh you’re a republican or you’re a democrat.. Reality is they are all liars, none is actually looking out for "you" or the “people” They are in it for one thing power. Notice how they all say what you want to here and then do what is necessary to stay in power. So in reality, they are just like all those "republicans" who only want to give the rich more money.

In reality there are few republican candidates out there. Many candidates in the republican party, however most are more liberal, and run a borderline democrat belief based campaign.

The truth is regardless of what your party is, our country was founded on certain beliefs, like right to life, liberty .............. so on so forth. If you keep letting the gov. take the rights away, for the good of the people or for our safety, You will be neither safe nor free. It was written that the gov. is supposed to stay out of private business. With exceptions to certain industries, like pointed out on the last page. The gov. did the right thing by telling them to ---- off and the over reacting mentality of the majority of uninformed people is crazy.

Life isnt that bad. Hmm we are all still building fast cars, when gas is at record high, ... Yea sounds like we are in a depression to me :S Come on... We might not be able to overextend ourselves like we have the past 10 years, but another great depression give me a ------- break. Oh which brings me to the point that why are so many people in debt, and so forth and why they are complaining of a bad economy. its because they exercise no form of self control or discipline in spending. Well ---- ya you should lose your house if you agreed to a loan for a house you can’t afford. Hmm you make 40k a year and buy a 1,000,000 dollar house. Couldn’t see that it wasn’t going to work out.

I agree with igotnothin, somewhat. I do think this is an era of economic readjustment, and that while things have been mishandled and they could be better and the current situation needs positive action on multiple fronts... the economy is not trashed. This is still a rich nation, and the ability of the average person to buy luxuries and amenities is still high.

Today is the first time in over a week I found a pump with 93 octane gas... I've heard of it coming into town, but the pumps that have it are sucked dry within 2-3 hours. Simultaneously I have more people calling me for tunes in the middle of a "weak economy" and a "gas shortage" than I can handle in two weeks, doing nothing else. You guys need to make a concerted effort to acquire knowledge, education, experience as the American economy changes and things become more competitive... but I really don't think families are going to starve. Nor are empires going to be made off of black market beef which in turn buy large chunks of downtown Asheville, and within a generation further laundered into a Porsche dealership, which now employs Hitchhikkr. Little Great Depression history lesson for you there, kids. :P
