lol 22 as a sniper rifle, are you joking me? that wouldnt work for much more than 80-90 yards at the very most. and what does sound matter if youre shooting a sniper rifle and killing someone, you'll be far enough away that it doesnt matter, a 22 is justa varmit gun/ home defense gun(all guns are just some better than others)/ plinker. nothing else

In the united states you can own semiauto rifles at 18 and semiauto pistols at 21. For fully automatic, silencers,rifles with under 16" barrels, ect you have to have a class3 lisense wich allows the police to search your home blablabla 200dallor tax stamp on each class 3 item ect ect ect

As far as the p99, i used to own the real .40 caliber version but sold it becouse im want to get a glock9mm with 3shot burst. I also have the smaller version the p22 .22caliber with threaded barrel ready for silencer.The p22 and p99 are smithandwesson and german made by walther.

Some rugger 10/22s like the olympic shooting ones are very accurate. The .22caliber bullet is very deadly, and considered the best assasin weapon on humans, the size of medium sized game not rodents. They are also very quite comparred to the .223 ar15 bullet and when silenced are extremely silent like a pellet gun. Ruger 10/22s where used by snipers in Israeli and other wars wars. It is very hard to silence a larger rifle like at ak47 or ar15 bullet traveling at over 3x the speed of sound and breaking the sound bearier makeing its own sonic boom. And if the .22 size slug is to light even with a large shell behind hit, the ar15s the military still uses today use small .223 wich is nearly the same size as a .22, and only 5.56mm compared to the ak47s 7.62mm but the velocity of the bullet is what does the dammage.


If you need more velocity the .17hmr is a very flat hot bullet. They also have a neet little bullet, the ".17 mach2", and a .17mach2 conversion barrel for the walther p22 and ruger 10/22.Hornaday Mach 2 17 grain bullets @ 2100 fps with 166 ft-lbs of muzzle energy.

The .22caliber mite not be the best sniper rifle but it is the ultimate survival weapon,assassin weapon,silenced weapon,cost efficent,ect ,ect,ect

That is the biggest pile of ---- gun I've ever shot. Maybe the ones I've seen had factory defects, but those guns jam up more than they actually fire. My guns have never jammed on me. If they did, they would be sold. I've shot THOUSANDS of rounds through my AK47 and never had a jam. If a gun is to be used as protection and it jams, it's worthless and will get you killed.

You must have gotten a defective one. My walther p22 and p99 never jammed up. If you read the manual you are supposed to hit the back of the clip on your palm so all of the bullets are stacked correctly to the back, and feed smoothly, also, the gun operates off blowback desighn, and mine still functions perfectly with the shell exttractor hook removed. .22 caliber weapons are very sensitive to the type of ammunition they use,My ruger 10/22 30rnd banana clips dont work with fancy winchester X rounds but work fine with cheepO' federal round. Different .22 shells have different shaped bullets, some are flat tiped, some are rounded, and some are pointed, wich affect how they sit on top of each other and how they go up the feed ramp into the chamber. A different/better type of ammo shoudl work smoothly.Also the .22 is the dirtiest shooting bullet, try cleaning the gun.
