run your car with water

Re: run your car with water
Well now i see your argument. When you said that an engine runs on water i figured you meant as the energy source like so many people in this thread...not as the working fluid.
I have read more on engine development and technology than 99% of the population but clearly not nearly as much as you. There isn't much better reading than a book from the late 40's or 50's when it comes to I.C. engines. There really hasn't been much new in the form of internal combustion engine technology since then and we are slowly getting around to using some of the more interesting bits. People get all worked up over a "new" design coming out today and when you tell them it was done 50 years ago most look at you like you are crazy.
It's funny i too have have the urge to switch to E.E. but at this point i just need to get out and move on to grad school.

Most modern ME programs have basic AC/DC theory included. I wouldn't bother switching majors unless you wanted to wield high end geekery.
Perfect example, Moatsie. Dude's background is petrochemistry, he learned all his electronics as a hobby and the Ostrich and Roadrunner, Neptune daughterboards and soon to be released Demon all came from him. None of it is super complex, it's just really really well thought out gear. Don't make the mistake of being defined by the piece of paper you are getting; and engineering degree is learning how to take logical steps, and you can apply that to any body of knowledge.
