Blown ringlands aren't anything, bitches. The ring package is still sheathed in oil, you still make compression, you aren't doing immediate damage to the bores, and you still make great power - so who cares? I've put 7K on a broken 30 degree section of ringland, and I've got at least as much mileage on the B18B I'm about to rebuild - I haven't torn it apart yet, but based on everything I've seen with my and other ppl's motors I know the 45K mile bores are still 45K mile pristine despite broken ringlands.

It hurts worse to be beaten by some smoking blown up ----, make a point of driving that ---- around like that for a while. "I could fix my car (flash a roll of $100 bills), but I like seeing whiny little bitches cry more" (in the trailerpark, the money is Monopoly[tm], but that seems to hurt worse?)

Good luck getting the engine to smoke less without new pistons/rings, but you'll race your best races blowing clouds. TRUST ME. Milk it. Get videos. Clown the other guy with sarcastic ass subtitles - dunno about you, but I could do with getting my ass beat from talking ---- and posting unneccesary ---- to the interweb.

it'll make less power with less compression obviously.

but it'll still make power if you force a ton of air into it. and the crankcase too

Less compression at the 4-500 rpms the starter turns your engine at? Sure does!

Less compression at 4000 rpms with viscous oil filling up the .001" clearances in the ringland area? Where's your wallet, son? I want to make a bet...
