ringlands owned,racing tonight

ok my friends civic 00 civic si,sc61 on 12psi ringlands have been fucked for the last week or so, changed the oil with 15w50 haha but ya im guessing maybe it will cut back on the smoke if we fill it full of some tacky sticky ---- who knows it really doesnt matter cause we r putting the slicks with lenso's on it that i had in my other post 24.5x8x13's on 12psi, on 9psi it made 276whp and ran a 13.1 at 110, on 11psi at PR ran a 13.1@116 all runs were on gforce drags. anyone have any suggestions on what to put in there maybe lucas or somthing it really dont matter, just something to cut back on the smoke for hopefully one run.

Blown ringlands aren't anything, bitches. The ring package is still sheathed in oil, you still make compression, you aren't doing immediate damage to the bores, and you still make great power - so who cares? I've put 7K on a broken 30 degree section of ringland, and I've got at least as much mileage on the B18B I'm about to rebuild - I haven't torn it apart yet, but based on everything I've seen with my and other ppl's motors I know the 45K mile bores are still 45K mile pristine despite broken ringlands.

It hurts worse to be beaten by some smoking blown up ----, make a point of driving that ---- around like that for a while. "I could fix my car (flash a roll of $100 bills), but I like seeing whiny little bitches cry more" (in the trailerpark, the money is Monopoly[tm], but that seems to hurt worse?)

Good luck getting the engine to smoke less without new pistons/rings, but you'll race your best races blowing clouds. TRUST ME. Milk it. Get videos. Clown the other guy with sarcastic ass subtitles - dunno about you, but I could do with getting my ass beat from talking ---- and posting unneccesary ---- to the interweb.

it'll make less power with less compression obviously.

but it'll still make power if you force a ton of air into it. and the crankcase too

Less compression at the 4-500 rpms the starter turns your engine at? Sure does!

Less compression at 4000 rpms with viscous oil filling up the .001" clearances in the ringland area? Where's your wallet, son? I want to make a bet...

Running 13's on 116mph traps?

:o :o :o :o WTF SHITTY DRIVER

You should be running solid 12.00's or 11.90's with those kind of traps.

if the oil is holding all the compression in then why does it blow out the exhaust, and out the valve cover breather... lol

when my ringlands were jacked up, i was blowing oil out of the exhaust, out of the valve cover breather, pushing oil up my oil return into the turbo making it smoke too.

Re: ringlands owned,racing tonight

Whenever I taco'd some ringlands it would still haul ass. Lay a huge K-car smoke screen, yes, but still haul ass.

Id be more concerned about the dramatically lowered knock threshold with all the oil in the chamber. But ---- it, the ringlands are already done, right? hahaha

Re: ringlands owned,racing tonight

drove mine about 3 hours after i toasted all four pistons...a few of the bores had a mark from where the cracks were in the ringlands, so be prepared to go to town with the hone

ya its nuts on my buddys b16 motor, it blew all 4 pistons only on 9psi from a t3 .48/.42 tuned on crome, i duno leed i think u should plug in that chip and we'll see wtf is wrong with it.

how is that gonna show anything. dave has more displacement and no two setups are the same. he'd probably run ass lean on that chip.

wow fook are you that ------ stupid...load up the chip on the computer and look at it see how well of a tune it was.

he is a damn good driver cant get traction even with drag radials tell 3rd gear just spins off the line

apparently not as stupid as you.

without datalogs, how is he gonna have any idea how good the tune was? use his extra sensory perception to guess the air/fuel ratios?

ps - on drag radials making 276whp, those times are ----.

uhh, not even a second slower with a single cam, tiny turbo, and shitty street rubber.

nice try at an insult tho you dumb asshat.

13.2 on shitty tires, great! 7 tenths faster than me with probably 70hp more, probably less weight, more displacement, a larger turbo, more boost, and you're just diggin yourself a hole here pal.

...stupid ------- noobs

fook he gains 110whp from 5k-6k on the dyno and not sure about the 60ft but the sc61 fuckn lags so much off the line when the power hits it just rolls smoke.

R-MAK 06-10-2005 01:35 PM

Re: ringlands owned,racing tonight

so why the ---- does he have a sc61 on that thing if he lags.

mycrx 06-10-2005 01:39 PM

cause on 11psi he ran a trap of 116mph

i dont care, this thread sucks...

threads where a bunch of retards try to post up about a car that isn't even theirs is f'ing gay.
