Default quick question

Just wondering if the rubber that comes with the AEM intakes to clamp the pipe to the throttle body will be able to stand the heat coming off the compressor side of a T3. Im fabricating an intake to the turbo and was wondering if i could use the rubber, or do i need to buy the silocone connectors instead.
