im 5'7''

lol that would be cool

but i need the definite answer on weather or not running is the best way to loose weight

i can go hit up kensington and they got a nice 17 mile trail there

hell i jogged 7 miles to my cousins house and jogged/walked 7 miles back and felt like i had enough energy to do it again

im pretty sure a nice scenery filled metro park would be alot more fun than running through lame city streets at 4am :p

2 McChickens, 2 double cheeseburgers only with ketchup and mayo(they put a TON of mayo, cholesterol ftw!), 1 large fries with 3 bbq thingies and a large drink.

thats what I had every day my gf worked. prolly about 4-5 days out of the week, every week for the entire summer.

I lost 35lbs in a month one time without using drugs. I just drank about a gallon of water a day and ran about 2 miles a day, I ate 5 times a day, very lite meals, like veggies brown rice, and chicken and tuna, stayed below 25 grams of fat and 70grams of carbs, but you have to eat ateast one fatning meal a week to keep your matab. up. that how I did it ;)

Simple, you need to make your body burn more calories than you consume. There are a few ways to do this-

Your metabolic rate determines how many calories you burn. Since just living uses the most amount of calories, you need to exercise for about 30min a day (or keep your heart rate increased), which will boost your metabolism. Also, stay away from saturated/trans fats.

Drink water, eat insoluble fibers, make sure you eat foods that contain essential amino acids (protein, such as animal products, also eat soy products and legumes, as they're full of essentials). Eating the right proteins will help lipid transport.

While a pound a day of seems like a lot, and it is, you could always dehydrate yourself. Problem with this is that you'll just gain the weight back a few days after you stop. That's why diet pills never work.

Don't kill yourself though. You can definitely burn out. Honestly, about 30-40 minutes of elevated heart rate EVER DAY is better than "binge" running for a week or so. It's hard on your body. If you want to have a healthy body, you need to develop healthy habits.
