****, get a cheap used 02 wrx. even that station wagons. its only 50 lbs more. whatever. then get an sti tranny, and an sti block. u can reuse the heads and everything else. the fuel injectors stock can be modified for 800cc with very very very little work. get a perrin fuel rail kit, and a nice turbo back exhaust with a nice up pipe. get a bb turbo of any sort, and a nice light weight flywheel and clutch. get a cob tuning street tuner kit with software, and you good for about 400 hp at the crank or so give or take 50 whp.
