you know where to find one in flawless shape for 1o -15 g's? other then ebay? so basically since fook is in ore, you come up with one in wa, ca, or ore in flawless shape or mint shape. or fook could be stupid and buy a piecer

Look man, you need to take advice from people who actually own these cars.

To me, my WRX is worth every penny of the 16k I paid for it. very smooth and driveable car. It's easy to have fun in it even without dumping a ton of money into it.

FWD for the loss....

Yah, that's why there are 3-5 SRT-4s at the streetraces every week, same crew of guys, and none of their ---- ever breaks at the 250-375 whp level. Versus the slow, pathetic WRX I have yet to see anything impressive from, or the RSX-S which I know of a couple transmission failures (OMG warrantied!!!11 though, but what good is warranty when they replace it with the exact same transmission, that's just going to fail again?) and the two modified ones in town (225-270 whp NA) have both been through a couple of engines.

And, Fookster? It's a Daimler Neon, duh.

-Two Holsets
-Stroker kit.

Some guy had a similar setup with 25K invested altogether; 9's on a 1/4 :S

Local guy has $8K in one, LT1 or SBF (like I pay attention) that makes 375whp, and a lot of spray. He's trapped 127 in the 1/8th, it'd do 9's in the 1/4 with a little sorting. Car is very clean, too.

WRX is a nice car, but slow as ----. RSX is slow too. I'm not gonna vote yet, but I lean more towards the WRX. And yes the trannies are ----. I say you look into a used STI, it'll be a few thousand more outta your price range, but the upgrades are def worth the extras.
