POLL: RSX or WRX? (vote nuggets)

I am looking at new cars and I have so far come up with the ideas of either an RSX, or a WRX.

Vote which one you would choose, or suggest something else of the like, in around 10-15K price range.

ps - dont suggest a ------- neon

Are you stupid? Both those cars suck. :l

Add SRT-4 to the options and I'll vote.

ok, im looking for something new-ish (ie, year 2000 or newer), not some beater from the 80's

Re: RSX or WRX?

srt-4s are good for one thing and only one thing- going fast and eventually breaking. I would take either of the two. Wrx should be more fun if your just going to drive it and not really mod it. But I hear the trannys are their weak links. AWD should be fun though. RSX has pimptastic interior and is pretty quick for a stock n/a motor (if you're talking about the type-s). I really couldn't say between the rsx and wrx. I guess if i HAD to choose, I would get the rsx-s.

I've been playing with VW's a lot lately and a GLI or a GTI 2000 or newer should be a fun car, small turbo but somehow they make it work suprisingly well

i love them, it would be my car i would get for that price range, or i would import a baseline skyline

rsx's suck, wrx has stock turbo which makes it much easier to make power. get a 2004 grand prix gtp supercharged comp g ;D

Yeh version 10 . But its not in his price class.
I'd suggest a version 3 STI , they go nuts for what they are standard :y

Re: POLL: RSX or WRX? (vote nuggets)

I love WRX's always have, plotting to get rid of the Cobalt and pick up a WRX to drop mega bucks into when I enlist.

RSX are very nice cars, they really do have the higher end Acura fit and finish to them. Buddy has a Type-S and it walks the Cobalt with minimal effort with I/H/E and some cams.

SN95 Cobras are sweet, if you can find one in your price range it would be between that and the WRX I think. They both have good speed potential, the Cobra I posted here a while ago made 909 hp on pump gas at the dyno day running 23 psi. Has never had so much as the valve covers taken off of it, has no traction of course and traps fast enough to run single digits.
Subie you aren't gonna have the torque like the V8 but you'll have the great AWD system, and living in Washington I would think that is a big plus in considering it.
