ONTARIO, CANADA RESIDENTS.....
has anyone in Ontario Canada heard about Bill 241!!!?!?!?
It's a bill that the MTO (Ministry of Transportation Ontario) is trying to pass a law that says the police can confiscate and/or ticket you for having ANYTHING on your car that is used in racing.
From NOS to an intake system. From A shiney exhaust to aftermarket rims/tires. They can take your entire car away. They can send it to a honda dealer, tell them to put it back to stock and send you the bill. It's ridiculous. It will cost thousands their jobs in the specialty exhaust shops and aftermarket shops. Going to car shows will be impossible unless you trailer it there. You can't even DRIVE your car to a PROPER track because you have the chance of your car not even making it there.
What do you guys think of this ----

I live in london ontario, this bill is a bunch of bullshit, it will hurt the economy if it is passed, however the chances of this bill passing is slim, it has already once failed and the ontario government is trying to pass it again, this bill is for "to remove street racing" that is bullshit, the ontario government hasnothing better to do with our tax money, why not just make the street racing penalties stiffer and remove the source of street racing, which is the driver in most cases, or build a local controlled strip for people to race on in the city, dont remove our performance parts that we work hard for. its not so bad here in london because the nearest strip is only 30 mins away, however in toronto its really bad from what i have heard. but i think that the bill wont pass, too many people are debating it.

I dont think it will pass either. BUT IF it does. I am sooo screwed, I have the rims now, i/h/e. A cop will see me and smile cuz he'll get his quota for the month just from me
