ive been watching the price of sks's go up by the day. last month there was one at a local gun shop for like 250 now they have another and want 470 for it. im gonna have to bite the bullet and take it in the ass before they get in the 6-700 range.

Gun Shops have been inflating EVERYTHING like mad. One in Winchester has an old beat up Mauser K98 I looked at, then saw $300 on the tag. Armalites for $2k with a few goodies, sickening. Some websites still have some good cheap ----, but they have to be shipped to an FFL and they add a fee usually.

most gun shops charge from 30-50 for a transfer. mine charges 35, which isnt bad.

one of the gunshops got a crate full of mauser 98's they want anywhere from 170-260 depending on condition and accy's
