Its a good deal.....700.
From the research i have found so far, it was built by Centurian with a Olympic arms center section...

From the research i have done, the only time they are " miss " is when you use coated ammunition. If you use clean ammo they are money. I watched a video of a guy dumping it in sand, then ice cold puddles with dirt and nasty ----, then running something like 200 rounds through it jam free. then throwing it back in the mud and puddles and ---- and shooting it some more.

One issue, no papers. How can i find out if this has been registered before?

That's how it is in VA, but often times if you buy a gun at a store or order it the company has already registered the gun at some point in time, so if something happens they can trace your bullets back to the store and then to you. It's hard to buy a gun retail here that doesn't have a paper trail behind it.

Personally I'd look at Mini 14's, unless you really want the bells and whistles and the look of the AR.

Spare parts availability, and easy to swap calibers for the AR

.223 Galil, perhaps? http://www.classicarms.us/ this guy is known for selling very high quality (especially if you pay the extra 10 bucks for hand selection) stuff.

mini14's are gay. Unless you drive a hemi and ride a buell and your turbo stang used to get 65mpg wot and ran 7's with a slipping converter. And any AR will ---- up if you feed it wolf and then feed it brass cased ammo after.

In reality though, pretty good deal?

Re: Olympic Arms AR-15

oly makes good rifles and i like the one you got.

the tactical handle is gay as hell though

i like the k3b-car

scottsi 01-05-2009 03:41 PM

Re: Olympic Arms AR-15

carry handle uppers are kinda gay, but really accurate. I could probably shoot 1 - 1 1/2 MOA with irons. Forward grips are good if you have a shorter rifle. So sell the one that is on there. and yes it is a good deal.

catch.can 01-05-2009 03:45 PM

Re: Olympic Arms AR-15

even without papers?
not like i wanted to register it anyways, i don't own anything thats registered... but, if it was ever seen and numbers were ran, how would i know it hasn't been registered before?

Can anyone recommend a decent, mid range shotgun? Looking for something rifled barrel, 3" chamber, 12 gauge or possibly .410 if I just want to hunt with the thing, depends on the useage I guess.

I have 3 remington 870 wingmaster 12 gauges and they are great guns. I took the magnum out last year which shoots 3inch shells, and from 50 yards away I shot a 1 foot section 4x4 piece of wood dead center without a scope with a regular slug and no rifled barrel. Thats a pretty accurate gun for me. I also have a .410 which is a great gun for shooting rabbits and squirrels:)

I have a secret. Im afriad of zombies. Therefore my weapons must protect me from the oncoming zombie attack that will inevitably occur. I'll kill those ------ zombies.

And I think its the most practical shotgun ever, get a 20rd drum and youre gonna hit something.
