how far is your panel from your garage?? you know welding fumes cause cancer...along with other things like breathing and pissing

panel is 8 feet away from me, garage is:

and the garage is out the room, down the hall, out the door, down the stairs make a left, walk a little more and there it is

LOL looks like Doc will be the only one that can e-race with Raffie on HMT about electricty stuff..

i still don`t understand the reason to use only 110V in the US. (it`s 220 in UK,Japan. etc)

Because 220 is more efficient and we all know those god damn japs are all about being efficient. :P Us Americans are some wasteful mother fuckers with our 8mpg SUV driving soccer moms.

AFAIk 220V need half of the amprage than 110v to run the same application right?
