I think i may have the highest hp and tq for a d16a1. It is a D16a1 block, DOHC ZC head, rollerwaves (8.0:1), KRB shorty mani, t3/40e 57 trim at 16psi. The turbo doesn't hit the highest boost level till it redlines. The boost just keeps on rising and never sustains a constant psi.

Notice the dead spot. I have no idea what it is. The engine "pops" like a vtec crossover point. I've changed ecu's etc. THe clutch was also slipping on the dyno at the high end and I was getting bad ignition breakup on the other higher boost runs so there is more room for improvement.

And it's 450's with an AFC II, BTM, and also a sds eic all tuned by me :

its a little rich.. most likely the reason for the ignition breakup (or try your plug gap at 18.)

^^^ I assumed it was spraying. On a 2nd look though, he coulda been the victim of a Hotrex dyno spike, haha

it was sprayclutch wouldnt hold be4 4k that why its spiking right there
