someone will die during a street tuning session. How are you even gonna drive it on the street? Is it registered/insured?

If you want Joseph, I can help you test structural integrity, no problem. Just park it with the passenger side against a wall.

Uh, that's not funny. You already almost killed a guy in a Civic with that bumper. The one inch long scratch in the paint tells all

When I was taking to Jay he was saying something that he was drilling holes in the floorboard to make it lighter.. Just keep in mind I'm sure alot of nhra rules will apply at this track, so I'd becarful on what you guys do. I'd hate to see you drive that far and we cant even actually race at a track. Our car is not going to be street legal in any way shape or form, however we will be doing street tuning and dyno tuning

Just simple stuff, if your going 11.5's you will need a roll bar, a helmet, jacket etc. I also sent the track manager a email today of what were doing.

Jay wasn't drilling holes in the floorboard. He did cut out the door frames leaving a bunch of sharp edges; I am unsure if we can coat the edges with something, or if we need to pop the door panels back on now to get through tech.

If Jay mentioned holes in the floorboard, I think those are the huge ones rusted through. Plans are to toss some carpet back on the front half of the car to cover them. *shrug*

Tuning it will be fun, also... do you have decent dyno rates, or are we street tuning it before it is loaded on a dyno? :P
I was thinking of donating a cage to this project actually. I do not want anyone seriously hurt from driving this car. Let me know if you guys want a cage for this car.

Cedar Falls does nothing. I've got a few friends with mustangs/f-bodies that run like 10-5-11.2 with nothing like a roll bar in the car. I also saw a Supra run 10.9 without any safety equipment and they really didn't give a ----. I'd do it anyways, but don't think they're going to go through a full tech inspection because I've never seen them do one.
