Next dyno day for the Pacific Northwest HMT crew? Anyone interested? Sign up!

I've been watching all the videos of the past dyno days, and reading about other peoples trips to the rollers, and it got me wondering when the next group session is going to be for this region of the HMT crew? It would be great to lay down some numbers, and add some new video to the HMT media gallery! Any takers? Any info?

So lets see if we can get a list together to get an idea of who would be interested and go from there, so if your in, just post saying so:

1. 70Challenger
2. Tatakai
3. neuspeedescort (on hand to give moral support)
4. jaykew99
5. random-strike
6. chevy
7. ronin
8. 90turboteg
9. evosol
10. cadracer
11. jeffsciv23
12. AbaZ

if we can get enough people to come up to kent, i can get something going at intec racing.

Intec works!!! Actually i drive by there almost everyday going to work, and the temptation to blow off work and dyno is so strong i can almost feel my car wanting to turn right everytime...

or maybe its my 30 year old suspension and shody steering?!

We dont have an AWD dyno sorry :-P just front and rear

neuspeedescort 09-28-2005 06:39 PM

Re: Next dyno day for the Pacific Northwest HMT crew? Anyone interested? Sign up!

just put the rear end on jackstands. then dyno the rear and put them under the the fronts. add the numbers up and do some other kind of math and it will work.

HAHAHAHA

technically it would kinda work if u knew the differential's torque ratio (is that what it's called?) and you'd probably have to simulate some kind of load on the wheels in the air

how dare you put ?? next to my name, IM DOWN! O0

viscous coupler eliminator for fwd on an awd dsm works.

I wouldnt mind taking a pass on the dyno to get an idea of what kind of (or lack there of) power im putting down with my LS motor. No tuning or any thing just so I can have a before and after

Would like the weekend of november 12th be an option? Too soon, too late? Any thoughts? I'm not trying to set this date in stone, just tossing it out there as a starting point.

currently their custom made crower's, that are beefy as hell. i would say stage 2 at least. were designed for vtec @ 6700, and redline at 9500 >:D i've got the built head sittin behind me i didn't put in along with the cams cuz i couldn't afford a headgasket :P

i'll be puttin in the stockers (GSR) when i put in the turbo, as well as that built head. from what i've heard turbo's dont like big cams =\

yea when i got them and the head, i was told they were in a built all-motor GSR/EG Coupe that ran 11's, and the head/cams alone put him into high 12's

for real.
but if you come through yakima and i have the day off i'll follow you over. would really like to see the weak ass numbers mine puts out. :(

so that brings the next question, when and where? oh and how much for how many pulls? i can bring my wideband and laptop if anybody needs to get some tuning on ;D

Tatakai 10-01-2005 02:27 AM

Re: Next dyno day for the Pacific Northwest HMT crew? Anyone interested? Sign up

tuning would be savage, i could definately use some. i say intec racing in kent ( www.intecracing.com), pretty good spot IMO

and the date that was thrown out into the open is November 12

i think we should just get charged like $40 each, and get like up to 6 pulls (i've got a lot of adjustable stuff to tune. cam gears, fpr, etc), or $10 a pull if u only want a couple, cuz we would be having over 10 people, and i do believe that calls for group discount :P

;D count me in i will have my new engine an trans assy together. It will be freeway friendly so i will be able to make the trip to kent an feel easy about it.Gonna see what a hopped up roller 305 motor can do on 15lbs boost. Some day i will get the caddy engine assembled for some dyno pulls.
