You didn't read what I said..."All D-series tranny can use the same clutch as long it's from '89-up with '90-up flywheel ."
Look at the year I wrote...ok it's not all explained I meant that if the tranny is from '89 and newer and using the '90-up flywheel.
88 tranny's have 21 splines '89-up tranny have 20 splines.
88 and 89 tranny are 200mm 90'-up are 212.
89 clutch plate won't fit with 88 tranny cause of the different spline count....if using a 212mm clutch in a '89 car and '89 tranny you'll have to swap in a '90-up 212mm flywheel...that's what I did
