Yeah but if it blows, another H series swap might not be available for cheap...

if it blows up, then swap in the z6 (which he has) and then that way he can build the h22.

who said i was going to japan?

I say do the dirty D, only because you already have it, and if you have $1100 to buy a h22 why not put the 1100 into that D? You could build a pretty bad ass D with $1,100.

I would say anything but the h swap. The engine bay is really tight to work on which is a pain in the ass. I would say LS/VTEC or D.

and then you will be out of potential, where the h22 will be almost as fast stock and have lots more to go when you build it

do the ls vtec or a gsr swap, h22 makes the nose to heavy and kills some of the handling. If its just a 1/4 mile car then go h22.

d15 all the way!!!! no really, i would go with LS/VEEtech. finding a good tranny will be a bitch as you said, thats about the only thing i see thats a con with going that route. H22 is good and Cheap for all motor but then again you would have to spend more $$ for boost applications due to those weak ass ring lands and shitty cylinder walls.

good luck anyway and did anyone mention anything about Frank goinf to japan? i mean i don't think anyone nkows about it yet 8)
