Friend works at sears and i own more craftsman tool than i would like to count. I have one socket set for almost 8 years now and as long as you dont lose them you cant go wrong.

Everything I have is either Craftsman or Ace (when something just happens to be "defective" and I write it off at work). Both have a no-questions-asked lifetime guarantee, so I have no problem. Everything else, besides my welder, is HF.

Yeah gear wrenches are ****. They're not the strongest things in the world, but they allow you to fit a wratchet in place no bigger than a quarter inch wide. Definitely good stuff. I found a set at the junkyard one day stuffed in someone's car so I yanked them and walked out like I walked in with them.
