Everything I have is either Craftsman or Ace (when something just happens to be "defective" and I write it off at work). Both have a no-questions-asked lifetime guarantee, so I have no problem. Everything else, besides my welder, is HF.

Thats whats great about craftsman. I've come in with 40 year old tools that have snapped in half/twisted/chipped/whatever and they replace it no questions asked.

if you can, get yourself some ratcheting wrenches!!! they ------- own!

I use husky and craftsman.

If you're baller status, order from snap-on.

Yeah gear wrenches are ****. They're not the strongest things in the world, but they allow you to fit a wratchet in place no bigger than a quarter inch wide. Definitely good stuff. I found a set at the junkyard one day stuffed in someone's car so I yanked them and walked out like I walked in with them.
