Need ECU help badly, please!

Default Need ECU help badly, please!

Hey guys, i have a dohc zc swap in my 89 hatchback std and ive been running a crappy pm6 ecu and i just got a 89 integra pg7 5speed ecu and i tried to plug it up and start car and it just keeps turning over but wont fire. there is also a weird humming noise when i try to start, but if i give a little gas humming noise goes aaway but still no fire. please help, thanks in advance.

i'm not sure what the problem is, but you would get more of a response if you posted in the hybrid section or even engine management. that buzzing is more than likely your main relay, or fuel pump maybe.

what you have is an 86-87 PG7 (brown top d16)... not compatible with 88+ cars because it runs off vacume advance. You need an 88-89 PG7 (Black top d16)... do yourself a favor and stick with the pm6 over the pg7. PM7 is the "ZC" and is the ecu you need.

you also may want to check the FOR SALE section, some1 had a PM7 for sale. or you can post a WTB in the wanted section for a PM7.
