Re:my VteCK ownz Joo!
Lol, but really... when I went out of town and down to sea level there is a noticeable difference. The only thing that Colorado can slightly make up for is that we have generally colder weather which means a little better for intake.

sorry
i meant to ask if he just took the regular gun metal (i think? or is that flat black ones?) and then made the lip himself |
Re:my VteCK ownz Joo!
I picked up a turbo Omni in the Bay area for a friend that bought it on ebay. The guy I picked it up from had run it there on a local track and ran a mid 13. That night I drove it from there (sea level) to Reno where I stayed for the night with the maximum altitude being at Donner's pass (just over 7000 ft. elivation). This car runs 18 psi, and I had always heard about the drastic difference in how your car runs at different altitudes, but I was shocked how drastic the difference really was. I have no way to verify, but I would guess it would be more like a low 15 sec, high 14 sec car at that altitude.
It's hard to say that you can shave 1.5 seconds from your quarter mile time by descending 5,000 ft. because there are too many factors that go into it, but surely the difference is substantial. |

And I'm sorry the problem is that at higher elevation there is "air" but there is less oxygen in each particle of air. So 5 psi of air here doesn't contain as much oxygen (as I recall). :) |

No spray paint although I have done touch up o it with my airbrush. Cant even tell. I painted his helmet for him cuz I have all the skillz and painting hardwear. I can do some bad ass work if you guys want. I will take a picture of his helemt so you guys can see. I am working on it right now.
