Re:my VteCK ownz Joo!
Erm, I'm gonna get jack ---- for traction though. And I don't think that turbo is even able to run that much boost - safely - I have the same one on my car right now and with 2.5" charge piping size its got terrible boost creep.
Greddy's bolt on kits really do suck ass hole. |
Re:my VteCK ownz Joo!
nice car. i like how your helmet matches the color of your car. are you drag racing or road racing??
|
Re:my VteCK ownz Joo!
oh dont worry. i have new plans in the works
it might involve this tial 35mm wastegate i have, and a new turbo, manifold, full stand alone blah blah blah. |
Re:my VteCK ownz Joo!
The biggest thing you would have on me is that your car is like 10000000000000000000 lbs lighter then mine.

Re:my VteCK ownz Joo!
Faster then what I had currently - course its hard to compare, I live in Colorado and we have no oxygen :(
I ran a 15'3 last year at 8 psi on a z6 head/y8 block but it was mostly a factory setup. I just blew my life savings on my new build up :) |

Re:my VteCK ownz Joo!
Nice looking car man....I wish I had a rex like that....although I would choose a different paint, cause I don't really like to get too much attention.
|
Re:my VteCK ownz Joo!

This is why some tracks include the barometric pressure on timeslips. The higher you get up in altitude, the less atmospheric pressure there is and therefore less boost. Also higher up in altitude is less oxygen. This is why different octanes are offered in higher altitude cities.

Re:my VteCK ownz Joo!
Think of it in this terms 5 psi is 5 psi, but it takes longer for me to spool 5 psi because the air is less dense here. I can gurantee if I went down to sea level I would shave off a full 1.5 seconds on my track time. Thats how much of a difference it makes :)

But its not depending on altitude. At sea level: 5psi + 14.7psi = 19.7psi At high altitude: 5psi + 10psi = 15psi I'm just stating facts, I live close to sea level so I have nothing to gain by convincing you, I'm just stating reality. |
Re:my VteCK ownz Joo!
