My sexy new project!

Re:My sexy new project!
i will have K&N's on each on the TB's, but you still need a vacuum box to run the FPR, MAP, and other vac dependant items. i'm jsut going to mount a small box on the firewall, and use that. but i will have 4 K&N filters on the intakes. i have been told that ITB's (individual throttle bodies) do make a big change in engine sound, since you not have to pull through a vaccum as much, that's also where the extra power comes in.

Most of the ITB setups use TPS as a signal for load rather than MAP. The MAP signal can be too eratic to provide good info to the ECU.
You really will need to be able to tune the fuel as well, once the initial idle is balanced on each one. The air provided by a properly sized system will far exceed what a stock ECU will be expecting.
Also, this will need to run at very high RPM to realize the potential of the ITB, with cams and proper cam timing as well. Great project, what size are those?

that flange might be hard to get cnc'd , you need to have the injector bosses cut into it. mani's i have seen are cast from a mold and then the injector bosses machined out. let me know how you end up making it, i am trying to get some of those flanges made. i will make a drawing later i'm too tired now.

I think TODA sells ITB's for AE86 Crapola. I never understood how bike engines work. Are they like lawnmower engines, or car engines? I want a bike now. I have a lawnmower and a pedal bike. Help me out here.
