My lights and instrument panel lights go real bright after 4,000 RPM WTF?
Yesterday i noticed this and wondered WTF was happening.Could it be a faulty Alt? is my care that powerful that after 4000 all this power is generated by the little turbo D? probably not but maybe someon one can confirm my hunch.

the regulator on your alternator is bad, check the coltage, while revving the engine if its above 14.4 fix it

i have another alt i just want to find the time to do it, i could very well do this now but im------- tired. So long as i dont go above 4 k im good. would it potentialy damage or overload anything? radio etc etc??? |

may be if it spike HIGH enough it would ---- up the battery, ecu, burn all your light bulbs and such :l
