Re: mother board for sli setup??

the amd am2 5000+ is a good new chip, but intel is better acrost the board with the core duo, not really worth the price though. No one would really notice the difference between an fx64 and a 5000+ when doing normal every day ----.

Chris Harkey has three SLI setups right now, but you can't have his phone number. Get fisted.

as stated sli is trash unless your planning on putting 2 8800gtxs in there

2 8800gtx's will actually cause bottleneck if you're cpu sucks.

CAUSE bottleneck?

There is a bottleneck in any system. Sometimes you never notice because it's not that relevant. If 2 8800gtx's are the bottleneck in your system, I wouldn't even call that a bottleneck in the first place. Your setup would play any game flawlessly.

Jd, you really seem to know what you are talking about when it comes to cars so I would never bother to challenge you're logic on that. I am a noob, just learning about HMT, I don't really chime in on anything auto related because I barely know much. I just like to read and learn stuff on the forums. I am a computer geek. But Intel processors have ALWAYS ran hotter then AMD. They use more power thus creating more heat, just google it.
