if you dont know what motherboard and chipset you want, you dont need to be ------- around with bios settings because you don't know what the ---- you're doing.

You using AM2 or 939? Are you looking to just replace a MB for the sake of SLI, or are you building a complete new system?

spend about 250 bucks on a sli motherboard from asus. i believe you can get one for dual graphics cards if i remember correctly. ive been looking into building a small gaming computer so i can play elder scrolls 4: oblivion which i bought over a month ago which my laptop and desktop cant play :-[ damn computer technology advances to damn fast i tell ya.
