heh. I got that scoop on my del sol. Its pretty pointless, ends up right over my intake airbox I guess it prolly cools down some. Theres NO way you could fit an IC on it. And your more than likely thinking about the kaminari hood anyway. And my guess your definatly gonna have to lose the a/c.

 

If its functional, painted, and not 6ft tall, go for it. Do what you like.

I've tossed the idea around of doing a small scoop or NACA(sp?) duct for the intake. I still have a ziptied cloth over my compressor inlet.

Top mount 'heatsink' intercoolers are not very realistic/functional.

 

I gotta keep my A/C i figure we will be well into the 100's this summer. btw I got a greddy manifold and turbo.
