Ok, let's think about this for a second. The B has alot of potential and is a great motor, but when they break they cost you an assload. Any part for a B series is going to cost you a shitload to replace. From that other thread I got the impression that you don't have a job and you live with your parents. Is it going to be cost effective to blow all of this money on an expensive *** motor and not even be done building it yet? If it breaks what are you going to do? What if you throw a rod? Are you going to have the money for a new block? What if you drop a valve? Can you afford to fix that?
I'm not saying dumping alot of money into a D series blcok is any better, but what's going to be cheaper to replace or fix in the long run? A d series blcok can be had for pocket change. Good luck finding a cheap B series block.
