What a ****** ------- cop-out. The only reason NOT to vote is so later on, if ---- hits the fan, you get to say, "well I didnt vote for HIM" when in conversation.

The not voting thing is STALE and OLD. No one is ever going to be the perfect candidate, figure out which one seems to work better for you an pick a side.

The only thing DUMBER than bitching about having your rights taken away, is refusing to use the ones you do actually have.

PUTIN for PRESIDENT!!!!

and to the ------ without an education.. google the laffer curve, it shows that cutting taxes can either bring more revenue or less.. depending on if it has a stimulating effect or not, its easy to test and not hard to figure out where you are on the curve...

if obama actually cut taxes for the middle class (didnt bill clinton make this exact promise only to say he tried.. but congress wouldnt let him lol) it would be the most expensive tax cut ever... either contributing to the national debt (only thing we are actually good at) or causing us to cut spending (under obama?) or raise taxes (that sounds right)..

dont let his sweet talk fool you guys.. seriously.

Like has already been stated, the actual citizens vote doesn't count for ----. I was stoned a majority of the time in high school, but I did pay SOME attention. The actual winner is decided by the electoral college, NOT by whom gets the majority of the us citizens votes. I agree with bigwig, I'll save my ------' gas. And if I feel like it, I'll still bitch about how it's all fucked up. The president is the ringleader of the federal gov't, which has grown WAY oversized and takes WAY too much of our money.

get a clue.

whoever wins the state (people's votes) gets the electoral votes from that state. you vote DOES matter.

why the ---- do i have to explain this so many ------- times. the electoral college is one of the most important aspects of our government, it makes sure all states and all people get a voice. if it was a pure democracy (our system is a representative republic) the gigantic socialist states would get all the say in the election.

democracy is mob rule, and always leads to socialism. representative republic is a far superior system.

Ding ding, we have a winner. When you go to vote on election day you are seeing the presidential candidates names, but you are actually voting for the electoral college for your state. So when it say's woogaly boogaly dirka dirka obamination you are actually just voting for the electoral college nogs for your state that will vote for him. That's why they show them winning each state. :1

We'll bump this thread 2&1/2-3 years from now, and see how much good either of these ******* have done us. When a middle class american who works his *** off for a living decides to run for the presidency, THEN I'll vote.

There hasn't been a republican who has gone into a presidency in the last, oh 40-60 years or so that gone out with less debt than when they started.

I'm pretty sure I remember Bill Clinton putting a serious dent and correction into our national debt (which China owns the majority of). He also has us moving in a direction to keep putting that dent even further...

Unfortunately when you spend a trillion dollars on a war that ended lives, created MORE extremist Islamics to attack us and caused our gas prices to go up...you tend to slip into a recession and start having to borrow money to pay for it all.

economy grew at 3.3 or 3.6% i can't remember exactly last quarter. are we in a recession?

bill clinton ended lives also, and killed innocent people

bill clinton did nothing, the republican congress cut spending. the president doesn't pass budgets.

bill clinton got VERY VERY lucky, having the .com boom during his presidency which he did NOTHING.

clinton left office in a recession, with 9/11 on the verge of happening and islamic fascism growing around the world. clinton was not a good president, but he was not a horrible president, aka jimmy carter.

Bill Clinton had that handed to him, and he was definately one of the worst presidents ever on many levels.
I am not stoked with the amount of spending congress (creates the budgets) has allowed, its coming from both sides of the aisle..

The war is something that we wont know about for a long time, I think in 10-20 years we will have a much better understanding of its acheivments or failures.

this country needs big change, and not towards the socialism proposed by obama. McCain is a step sideways, we need somebody more "libertarian".
