Re:Maaco?
alright i just got back from maaco like 5 min ago and i think im gonna have them paint my car. the guy brought me around the shop and showed me all the types of finishs and there really not that bad at all and they do have urethane paint which is a two stage paint. the guy did look at me funny and asked me what year the car was and why i wanted to spend that much money on the two stage paint which i thought was funny, whatever tho. im waiting for a new front bumper and fenders before i bring it in and after yesterday both sides of my car match because some old guy outside the probation office decided to drive into the side of me, yes i was stopped and the ------- turned right into me and since i dont have a license i did nothing about it. hahaa any one have any recomendations of a white i can get it painted...i was thinking the weightless white on the new evo. i have 2 sets of wheels black 16s and silver 17s and a carbon hood im gonna be switching it up with

Re:Maaco?
Ok, when I was a junior in high school (1999), I thought that body kits were cool!! I bought a 6 piece mugen fiberglas knock-off for my 1989 CRX. I was already kinda experienced with body work, so I did all the prep work myself, and even molded the back bumper, side skirts, and door caps to the body (bad idea on a daily driver by the way!) Anyway, so after all that work, I took it to Maaco and paid $400 for corvette yellow paint. Everything was a nice shiny yellow when I got it back. Literally, my radiator, my rear bumper support (since the body-kit had two holes in the back piece, my wheels and tires, previously black trim...EVERYTHING!!! First of all, they do a terrible job of masking (c'mon, you can't cover the damn radiator?!!), and second of all they do it so fast that the overspray creeps into the engine bay, behind the wheels etc. So, like what has been said before, you get you're money's worth.
BTW, bodykits may have been cool in the 90's, but 99% of them are gay. DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY!

Re:Maaco?
#1 all maaco's are franchises and it depends on the shop it self.
#2 body kits are gay only when they are just for looks, the all mugen body parts are air tunnel tested for aerodynamic improvement.
#3 if your that experienced w/ body work why didn't you research the shop you took it to, before getting it sprayed?
