i know of scat performance and the cranks they carry, but... the cast cranks are only rated to 500 horsepower which im sure they can take more but i dont want to push their boundaries. i was looking at eagles forged cranks. plus i need a 1 piece rear main seal anyways which i forgot to add. its only 659.95 . at the time being i need a new crank anyways to keep up with the rest of the motor. i didnt say it was gonna be budget build. it was gonna be a build. oh i was also looking at a 8 point roll cage for safety reasons and track duty. i need a racing seat as well with a harness. itll add up, im thinkin about doing the math tomorrow before i go into work. well see.

Eh, I know how inexpensive the Scat cranks are, but it's not forged. ;D

Maybe if people would stop nuthugging LS1s for a little bit I could get some of my other SBC stuff sold to fund the project. :-X

It isn't like a 377 will get built in my garage any time soon anyway. :-\ I could scrounge up the bottom end parts easily enough, but to poor to afford any decent heads to slap on top of it.

Could always do a short stroke 350 for extra weirdness and screaming high revs. :6

those turbo 301s were some of the slowest peices of ---- ever LOL, but they were still faster than the gook datsun turbo 280s

but they look cool and i would totally dig it with a different motor in it.

the bandit had a turbo trans am in the 2nd movie i believe

the original bandit was the 455cid one :)

yes they are and will continue to be primer until ive picked a color them. nothing like a rattle can primer paint job for the time being.

i know it was sarcasm, but im tired of the fact that everyone thinks this site is based on hondas. especially the damn noobs that come here and dont search for ----. sorry for being a dick josh, but im just tired of ------- idiots. especially the ones that hit your car and run(twice this year).



but yeah, my exhaust decided to depart today. so i had to spend 170 dollars to get it repaired all the way back. so no heads are getting rebuilt this weekend :-[ oh well, ill figure it out.

yeah good thing is im replacing the fenders anyways. i cant find another trans am anywhere for parts.once i do ill put te TA fenders bck on. but yeah, zeniceguycrx gave me a leed on a few different turbos so maybe i can scroung up some cash for one or two depending on what i do.
