Re: Light Weight Crank Pulley ?
the short stroke B16/D15 are usually OK.
But since the D16 has the longest stroke of the D/B motors :) |
Re: Light Weight Crank Pulley ?
So what would be the lightest and I guess best pullery for the D16z6? The D15B. If not which one?

Re: Light Weight Crank Pulley ?

Re: Light Weight Crank Pulley ?
I've never changed the pulley on my engine and I never would. I've seen bad things happen, and that's enough for me to say ---- you to a lightweight pulley.
One of the problems I've heard with CTR pullies is that they aren't balanced for your specific engine. It'd probably be okay if you had it balanced with your crankshaft. Oh and fluidamper makes the lightweight dampers. |
Re: Light Weight Crank Pulley ?
I have ran the dhr unit and factory lightened ones and never have seen any damage on any motors except a high hp turbo b16a that killed an oil pump
