I used the Unorthodox Racing crank pulley on my mini/me turbo for over 1 year with no problems. Donald owns the car and the motor is still going strong. |
Re: Light Weight Crank Pulley ?
Face it guys, the way we use our engines, none of them will last too long, so just throw on the stock CTR pulley and drive your car till it dies, then rebuild it and do it all over again.

every 10,000 miles :)
D15B7 pulley :) BTW, you know the Y7 pulley is lighter than Y8???? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMESE%3AIT |
Re: Light Weight Crank Pulley ?
Eh yeah, I hope my engine lasts at least 10,000 miles after I turbo it... At least until I have another block to swap in.

Re: Light Weight Crank Pulley ?
2.5 pounds for the D15B7 pulley vs. over 7 for the Z6 pulley.......

Re: Light Weight Crank Pulley ?
Rofl, damn didn't think it'd be that big of a difference.
Now that I think about it, when we changed my friends timing belt on his d15(b7? 95 del slo) it didn't seem to have a rubber dampener.... |
Re: Light Weight Crank Pulley ?
i've had an unorthodox racing crank pulley on my b16 for about 6 years now.. with no problems at all. i just recently boosted the car so i'll see how it works out.... ---- it.. if it blows, it blows >:D
