Default Light Weight Crank Pulley ?

Does anyone use a lightweight crank pulley? If so, does it feel any different than stock? What brand do you have? Is this a bad item to get?

Sorry for so many questions, but I might buy one tomorrow. I want to know if it's even worth it getting.

Thanx guys

Don't use them, they don't have a dampener and are harsh on the drivetrain.

The OEM one has a dampener that absorbs some of the shock and vibration. Almost all aftermarket pulleys don't have this. I had one on my Del Slo, but that was only because the asshats that I bought the car from didn't put the crank pulley bolt on tight enough when they changed the timing belt, so it came off, hit the crank pulley, busted it, and I didn't feel like paying so much to get an OEM one when I could get an aftermarket one for a fourth of the cost. I didn't notice any difference...

THough how many people actually use the same engine for 10k or even close? You know you want it so just get it. Shiny parts are badass. I used them on a bunch of my engines but I never keep a car for over 2 years so I don't really care. lol.

I've had an Unorthodox Racing lightweight crank pulley on my b16a for oabout 5 years/60K miles with no problems. I put mine on when I did the swap so nothing to really compare it to. I've never seen such carnage blamed on a crank pulley before... where they underdrive crank pulleys or were they stock diameter?

On an UR crank pulley? Was it just a lightweight one or was in underdrived? I'm curious because I don't want to push my luck. Especially with my new motor when its done.
