It's just an old flat head. Keep the carb, and search craigs list for a freebee mowers and I'm sure you can find a replacment parts motor.

well the case is cracked so the only thing still good is the head, just a little bit of clearence done by the piston when it let go.

found another used motor for 75

My buddy has a ton of fucked up parts sitting around. He is a small engine mechanic. I have never had a lawnmower engine go bad on me. They seem pretty low-maintanence.
