I would just try it. I've always heard that it's better to stay with the same stuff, but never heard that mixing/matching won't work. Only problem I can see is if the timing was different, because you can't set timing differently for each dimm...it's one setting for all the sluts. Why not just find some cheap pc100? Either way, if you already have pc100 that's the fastest it's going to run. I would just get the pc100 crap and KNOW it works.

The problem with memory is that price is directly affected by demand. If there is a low demand for a certain type of chip, price goes up cuz they don't manufacture it anymore, but the few ppl that need it are willing to pay...

So ya, older PC100 is more expensive in most cases than PC133. Even though PC133 is better/faster. However as long as the board isn't too wacked, it should be able to handle the PC133 fine.

Edit: I don't know jack about apple's so I could be wrong.

I'm bidding on this on ebay so I don't have it yet. I assume the correct way to install memory in a laptop is sledge+prybar?
