Just for refrence you believe someone like floyd mayweather would get owned in mma. Remember he has never taken a knee/knocked out once and never lost a fight EVER

Just checking. Im sure if ufc could pay the 20 million he makes in fights we could see but I have a feeling thats what the ufc is worth in total assets.

Floyd Mayweather is the biggest puss in the business. He had a meeting with Dana White, Sean Sherk, and BJ Penn about signing with the ufc... when he saw BJ and Sean he was scared shitless. That was the last they heard of Money Mayweather. Then he went to the WWE to fake fight the Big Show (lol), then he did Iron Ring on BET as a ... COACH. That's right a coach not an actual fighter. You know why? It's because even he knows he doesn't belong in there.

Someone like BJ, Sherk, Guida, Danzig, Sakurai... any top 20 lightweight would absolutely demolish Mayweather. What's going to happen when the pretty boy gets pushed up against the cage and thrown to the canvas? He's going to lay there like a dead fish... just like Houston Alexander or any of the other one dimensional stand up guys.

Btw the average pro mma fighter makes under $14k per fight. When Keith Jardine beat Liddell he got $28k (14k * 2 for winning) and guess what Liddell got... $500k. He's at the other extreme.

It's difficult to generate revenue with $50 tickets, the promotions the ufc gets, and without gambling. The ufc recently got a deal with Bud Light so that will help, but the fighters just don't make much. How many pro boxing matches are on a typical card? Ufc 89 and 90 will have like 10 fights on each card.

not too mention that all of those fights have the potential to be really explosive and unpredictable. boxing isn't at the same level that it was 10 years ago

Ehhhhhhhh...I believe a top notch boxer would...Mike Tyson in his prime?? I believe he would have given a MMA fighter a pretty good run. As long as he kept the fight HIS kinda fight. He's a flop now, but in his prime Iron Mike was a bad bitch...period. No one can argue that. I don't watch TV so I don't catch much action, but I saw some clips of that Tua(??David??) guy the other day. His left cross is a serious ------' hammer. Anybody catches that ----....they go down.

Clinch him up... drive a few knees up the center... throw him down... finish the deed. Anderson is a monster right now.
